Technical Explanation for Growlabs Click Tracking
Enabling click tracking causes link URLs in your emails to be re-written so that they point to Growlabs' servers. When a link is clicked, our servers register the click, then forward the user to the original URL.
In order to maintain a high domain reputation, link URLs in outbound emails should point to the same domain as the sender's email address. Creating a CNAME entry in your DNS settings allows Growlabs' servers to be accessed using your own domain name instead of one shared amongst other clients.
