Before we can start sending emails from your company’s email domain, you’ll need to create a Mailgun account or connect your existing Mailgun account to Growlabs.
Step 1: Create a free Mailgun account here if you do not currently have a Mailgun account. If you have a Mailgun account that you'd like to use, skip to Step 2.
Step 2: Within your Mailgun account you need to find and copy your Private API Key.
How to Locate the Private API Key in Mailgun
The Private API Key can be located from your Mailgun dashboard on the right-hand side under API Keys. It starts with "key-......". Click on the eyeball to reveal the whole value.
Step 3: Copy the API key, navigate back to your Email Domain tab within your Growlabs account, push Send with Mailgun, add in your API key from Mailgun and push save.
Step 4: Once you have connected your Growlabs account to your Mailgun account, you will need to make sure you Mailgun files have been successfully added to your domain registrar.

Step 5: OPTIONAL: In order for Growlabs to track the clicks from your email templates- the first CNAME listed on your Email Domain tab will need to be added to your domain registrar. Here is an article that can walk you through Growlabs Click Tracking feature in more depth.

Q: Do I need to authenticate my domain before sending emails through SendGrid?
A: Yes- this is a mandatory step when sending out emails with Mailgun. If you do not want to verify your domain, we'd recommend reviewing the SendGrid option. You can learn more about SendGrid here.
Q: Is Mailgun Free to use?
A: SendGrid does have a free option. Learn more about their different plans and pricing here.
Q: Am I am able to switch to SendGrid after I have already connected my Growlabs account to Mailgun?
A: Yes, if you push the unlink text underneath the API key you will be brought back to the screen where you can select SendGrid.
